David Beckham's son, Romeo, is set to face the Ukraine national team in a behind closed-doors friendly for Brentford B.

The Bees have granted permission for the Ukrainians to train at their HQ ahead of Ukraine's Euro 2024 qualifier against England at Wembley.

They will take on Ruslan Rotan's side on Thursday, March 23, with forward Romeo expected to feature, before Gareth Southgate's Three Lions take on Ukraine three days later.

Romeo previously played for Inter Miami’s development side, Inter Miami II, where he’s built his experience in the MLS Next Pro.

Having led the the league’s assist charts last term with ten assists and two goals to his name, Inter Miami II finished sixth in the Eastern Conference.

The 20-year-old decided to swap Miami for west London in January, with his father, David, posting on Instagram: "Exciting start to the year [heart emoji]. Now the hard work and fun begins. Proud of you mate @romeobeckham."

Having joined the Young Bees on a deal running until the end of the season, Beckham Jnr recently netted a stoppage-time winner against Wealdstone in the Middlesex Senior Cup quarter-finals.
