Meghan Markles Friends Fiercely Defend Her Against Nasty Rumors In A Preview For Meghan And Ha

In a new special hosted by Gayle King, Meghan and Harry Plus One, the Duchess’ close friends are opening up about her! The project is supposed to take a look at Meghan and Prince Harry’s first year as a married couple as well as them adding to the family with the birth of their son, Archie Harrison.

One preview for the special addresses some of the negative headlines about the former actress, including speculations that she has a very diva-like attitude and so, she is pretty difficult to deal with at the palace.

However, one of her close pals, Daniel Martin, who is also her makeup artist, fired back at those rumors.

‘What’s so frustrating is that you hear these stories and there’s no truth to them. It’s not the same person. In the years I’ve known her, the years I’ve worked with her, she’s never had a diva fit, never,’ Martin says, getting more emotional and later even shedding tears.

‘I think because I know her so well, and I know she doesn’t deserve all of this negative press,’ he went on to say.

Martin was not the only friend of Meghan’s to discuss her relatively new life as a royal but also as a mother.

Actress Janina Gavankar talked about Meghan and Harry starting a family, discussing how baby Archie has made history with the fact that he is the very first American-British and also biracial baby in the Royal Family.

‘There are still a lot of us who didn’t even grow up with dolls that look like us,’ Gavankar told the host with King agreeing and mentioning that she was also one those little girls.
