Real Housewives Star Teresa Guidice and Husband Plead Guilty to Tax Evasion Charges

According to RadarOnline, Teresa and Joe admitted they were guilty on various tax evasion charges to a judge and now they may face numerous years of jail time. Without showing much emotion, the two entered their pleas and will wait to be sentenced. Various sources have speculated that Teresa could face less than two years in prison while Joe could face a minimum of three years behind bars.

The prosecution’s case stated that the two exaggerated their income when applying for loans before their television show debuted in 2009. They then hid their improving financial conditions while filing for bankruptcy after the first season of the show. They were hit with a total of 41 charges with more to come.

Teresa is hoping to serve her time on house arrest, which perhaps could mean she would still be filming the reality TV series – We’re sure that’s her hope because she’s going to need income and she’s going to need income pretty fast. I hope for her child’s sake she’s granted house arrest.
