Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder seems to be having a hard time staying positive while planning her destination wedding amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Schroeder and her fiance Beau Clark have been planning their upcoming wedding which was scheduled for October 2020 in Rome, but the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic has made it difficult.

The Next Level Basic author was part of a virtual launch party hosted by Loverboy and Summer House stars Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula for the newest line of Loverboy spritz. During the discussion, Schroeder opened up about how the pandemic has affected her wedding plans.

“We’re trying to stay optimistic that things will sort itself out,” explained Schroeder. “I was thinking about that the other day. I was like, ‘Well I already have my dresses,’ but are people actually making them right now? Because that’s not essential. You know what I mean? … I’ve, like, given up the dream of having an awesome, big wedding. I won’t be crushed if it doesn’t happen. I give zero f–ks at this point.”

Earlier this month, the Straight Up With Stassi podcast host sarcastically tweeted that planning a wedding “that may be nonexistent is fun.” She added that she would “def recommend” the process.

Despite the uncertainty of their wedding, Schroeder and Clark have purchased a new home and are settling into their new life together. She said during the launch party that people ask her what it is like to finally live with Clark, and she said that it really did feel like they lived together before.

She explained that he literally lived a block away down the street, but now they are experiencing “honeymoon hell” because they are forced to be in the home that they just bought without being able to do anything fun.

Rumors started swirling earlier this week that Schroeder and Clark had secretly tied the knot when she commented on Erin Foster’s Instagram page after Foster said that it was the perfect time to have already had your wedding. Schroeder wrote “preach” on the post, but an insider told Us Weekly that the comment didn’t mean Schroeder and Clark were already married.
